The Scene Auto Selector attribute complements it to create crisp motion shots automatically, even when the subject is moving at high speeds.

Finally it’s possible to get really great portraits right in the camera, thanks to Skin softening technology. Forget about lengthy touch-up sessions with computer image software. Also, the Smart Portrait System provides stellar shots right when you click the shutter.

Quick Retouch balances contrast and color saturation for you to produce a clear, rich looking scene. On those low-light shots where that’s especially hard to accomplish, D-Lighting kicks in to add detail. Exposures are always optimized. That feature would be nearly useless if you had to hold the camera, of course. Nikon developed a kit for the S1000PJ to allow you to put it on a stand for steady viewing.
